How Might We...for You?

Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about messaging what I do and for whom and put together a JW Collaborative overview document for anyone interested (shoot me a note if you’d like me to email it to you!). I’m going to share snippets here over time. Let me know what you think, what questions you have, and/or if you’d like to discuss further!

You need to lead uncharted change for customers and/or diverse stakeholder. But how?
Most strategic problem-solving approaches lead you to believe that there’s a template or a best practice for your particular problem in your industry. And that’s certainly true for many well-worn challenges.
But WHAT IF your problem is unique to your organization, your stakeholders, your customers...your place and time? Understanding what’s possible from peers and analogous industries should inspire and inform rather than be a blueprint for your success.
HOW MIGHT YOU generate a new path to success that is uniquely your own, creates shared purpose across silos, and appeals to customers with evolving expectations?
Most design strategy approaches help you get to new ideas but fail to help you thoughtfully consider the details of execution.
But WHAT IF good ideas were abundant while buy-in and realizing them were scarce?
HOW MIGHT YOU bridge that ambiguous future with more confidence?
We can help...wherever you might be on your journey to address those questions or questions like them. This is just the beginning of our HOW MIGHT WE...for YOU.
We deploy human-centered systems design - an approach that uses deep inquiry, empathy, collaboration, iteration, systems thinking, and holistic execution planning - to elevate intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial leaders in health, civic, and social good service organizations who aspire to drive real change for their unique customers and constituents.

“Design” means different things to different people. Architects design buildings and spaces. Graphic designers design visual communication. UX designers design more usable, desirable, and accessible interfaces with products. The list goes on.
The truth is design is as much a process of creative problem-solving as it is an output of beautiful artifacts. We practice human-centered systems design, which elevates the perspectives and needs of end users and those who serve them, and we translate those insights into actionable solutions that can be adopted in the context of, if not across, organizations and communities.
As human-centered systems designers, we’ve designed system-wide signature experiences with implementation plans, strategic vision missives, an interactive collaboration hub, shared purpose co-creation workshops, human-centered design courses and modules, and foundational insights as a catalyst for holistic solutions...to name a few things.
Ultimately, we created JW Collaborative to more directly and nimbly serve and impact clients who believe that human-centered design should be paired with business, organizational, and/or systems thinking acumen to create a more holistic future.
